Group II – Grade lesson #28.  Discuss how to read a clock.  Homework:  Lesson #29 – odds.		Group I – Grade lesson #34.  Review how to divide numbers that have zero in the quotients.  Homework:  Complete lesson #35 – odds (or all for extra credit). Due Thursday. Also, study for test tomorrow over lessons 31 – 35.  Group II – Grade lesson #29.  Show how to multiply by multiples of 10.  Homework:  Complete lesson #30 – odds (or all for extra credit).  Also, study for test tomorrow over lessons 26 – 30.	Group I – Grade lesson #35.  Take test 6A.  No homework for either group. Take test 5A.	Draw a blueprint of your building project.  Compute the area and the perimeter of the base of your building.

10:45- 11:35 History   or Health - (Mondays)	Divide into three groups.  Each member of the group will be assigned one or two items to bring for project on Friday.  Teacher will then read a book about King Tut to students. Homework:  Bring a snack and a sack lunch tomorrow for our field trip.		The mummification process.  Using the resources available in the classroom, complete worksheet pg. 29.  No homework.	Grade questions pg. 37.  Read pages 38 – 42.  Divide into groups.  Brainstorm what materials you will need to build a food guide pyramid.  Homework:  On line, find a current food pyramid.  Tell what has changed about the pyramid since your text was last published.  Write out all the changes.  Due next Monday. Also, bring building materials for your food pyramid.	Building project.

Field trip to Pacific Science Center.  8:30 – 3:00	Grade workbook pg. 49. Read introduction on pg. 133 – TE. On overhead projector, list accomplishments of Sumer, Egypt, Chaldea, and Greece.  Then have students complete exercise C and D in workbook – page 50.  Homework:  Finish pg. 50 – Due tomorrow.	Take a quiz on lessons 10 – 12.  Go over workbook pg. 50 from yesterday.  Read exercise C on pg. 134.  Discuss materialism.  Write examples of materialism on the board.  Have these things become our gods? No homework	Bible verse quiz on Psalm 19:1-3.  Introduce the next week’s verse:  Romans 8:31-32.  Read conclusion on pg. 132 to class. End with prayer requests and prayers.  No homework

Read pages 63 – 67 in History book.  Divide into two groups.  Homework: Group I – Complete questions on pg. 64 as well as the “Think question on page 66. Group II – Complete questions 1 & 2 on pg. 66 and all questions on page 67. Due Tuesday.
