8:10- 8:50 Bible	Review the Bible verse:  Matthew 5:17 – 18.  Have students write what they believe that verse means.  Update prayer requests.  Discuss the differences between the old covenant and the new covenant.  Homework:  Study for test on Friday.	Chapel	Discuss what the Gospels are.  Read Introduction pg. 30 (T.E.) to class.  Who wrote the Gospels and how could we tell the others the “good news”?  Go over directed Instruction and then have students do extension activity pg. 30.  No homework	Allow students to say verse orally.  Write Christian on the board – find acronyms.  Play follow the leader.  Read directed Instruction pg. 32.  Homework:  Study for Bible verse test tomorrow.	Friday Sing.  Take Bible verse test over Matthew 5:17 – 18.  Print off all names of New Testament books.  Have students stand in order of the books.  Categorize the books into Gospels, Letters, History, or Prophecy. Girls –Science Discuss camp experience.  What did you learn?– Using Wegener’s puzzling continental drift paper, try to line up the continents how they once may have looked.  (Work in partners) Homework:  Bring a tennis ball on Wednesday. History - Work in groups, creating your ending to the mystery:  What happened to the lost colony of Roanoke? Homework:  Be ready to present your hypothesis to the class tomorrow.	History - In groups, present your hypothesis of what happened to the lost colony of Roanoke?  We will then discuss the historical hypothesis for this event.  No homework

Homework:  Prepare your heart to see what God wants to reveal to you at camp.	Chapel	Leave for camp at 7:15 A.M.		Return from camp at approximately 4:00 P.M.  (Time will be relayed to the school as we travel)

Homework:  Begin working on Bible verse for Friday.	Chapel	What is a promise?  Discuss conditional and unconditional promises.  T.E. 18.  In groups of two, have students fill out worksheet on God’s covenants.  Go over at the end of class. No homework	Oral Bible verse test.  How does it feel to be chosen by God?  Pass out choices and consequences worksheet.  Have students match up the characters with the choices that they made.  How do our choices affect our lives? Homework:  Study for test tomorrow over Bible verse.
