Introduce Bible verse – Revelation 7:9.  Discuss what it is like to know the ending of something before it has even happened.  Do Introduction and Directed Instruction pg. 388.  Divide into seven groups and research the seven churches described in Revelation.  Complete BLM 33A and share your finding with the class.
Homework:  Study for Bible verse test on Friday.

Do Introduction activity pg. 390.  Have student describe unknown object and have other students draw it.  Talk about the Seals, Trumpets, and Bowls described in Revelation. In three groups, do BLM 33B, identifying the Seals, Trumpets and Bowls in each passage.  Discuss at the end of class. 
Homework:  Prepare for verse test tomorrow. 
Have students take verse test over Revelation 7:9.  Update prayer requests.  Discuss what things would be needed to prepare for a guest to visit, but the arrival time is unknown.  Tie this in with Christ’s return.  What should we be doing?  Do Directed Instruction pg. 392, illustrating what it will look like when Jesus returns.

Say Bible verse aloud if ready.  Read BLM 30B.  Talk about how words can injure a person.  Do Directed Instruction pg. 354, dividing the class into four groups.  As a group, make up a skit showing the proper response to unkind words.  Perform your skit for the class. 
Homework:  Study for Bible verse test tomorrow 
Friday Sing!  Write memory verse.  Introduce next week’s verse – II Peter 1: 5-7.  Update prayer requests.  Write three questions on board and have students write answers to them.  Do Directed Instruction reading through James four.  Write cause and effect statements found in this chapter.
