8:10- 8:50 Bible		No School	No School	Introduce Bible journals.  Write personal  testi- mony in journals. Share testimony With a friend. (optional),  Assign lockers.	In journals, write what you would like to gain this year in Bible.  In groups of four, make a chart showing Bible goals.	Friday sing. In journals, write your favorite Bible verse.  Share with class why it is special to you.

9:45- 10:26 P.E./Art Writing Health Comp.		Boys - P.E. Girls – Health:	Girls - P.E. Boys-Health:	Boys –P.E. Girls - Writing	Girls – P.E. Boys - Writing	Boys – P.E. Girls – Mavis Beacon Practice on computers.
10:45- 11:35 Reading		Mrs. Carrillo’s Class
11:40- 12:10 Music   or Spanish	Music		Spanish	Music	Introduce consequence and reward cup. Homework:  write five consequences and five rewards.	Music
1:15- 2:05 Math				Introduce Classroom rules.  Talk about classroom procedures and schedules.	Multiplication and Division time tests.  Complete Math Brain teaser.  (This is not homework!)	Diagnostic test to determine math placement.
2:05- 2:55 History    Or Science				Fill out student information sheets.  Pass out books.  Have students  list five friends to room with at camp.	Introduce plate tectonics.  Read pages 1-7 . Homework:  Questions pg. 7 due tomorrow.	Grade questions on page 7.  Read pages 8 – 11.  Start planning how to build a volcano.
