Chapel	Go over workbook pg. 21.  Write in your journal what you believe success is.  Read the parable of Luke 12:16-21.  In groups of three, rewrite the modern version of this parable.  Share with class. No homework	Do demonstration for students on how quickly riches slip away.  As a group, complete crossword puzzle on pg. 23.  Complete the secret of success individually. Homework:  Answer the question on the bottom of pg. 23.	Take a verse test on Mark 8:34-35.  Introduce next week’s verse: Philippians  2:3-4 . Color the wall hanging while teacher reads pgs. 79-80 – famous martyrs and missionaries. No homework

Grade lesson #13.  Discuss number lines and how negative numbers apply to the line. Homework:  Complete lesson #14 – evens.  Due Wednesday.	Grade lesson #14.  Show students how to use the “equal groups” stories to solve problems. Homework:  Complete lesson #15 – odds (or all for extra credit).  Due tomorrow.	Grade lesson #15. Take a placement test to determine groupings for math.  Complete fun sheet when finished.    Homework:  Study for test Friday over units 11-15.	Take test #3 over lessons 11 – 15. No homework.

Go over test from Tuesday in History.  Read pages 24 - 28.  Show internet pictures of the aurora borealis.	Read pages 29 – 32.  Divide into groups of 3.  Select one animal besides those listed in the reading that you would find in Alaska or Northern Canada.  As a group, draw a picture of that animal and tell what provisions God has given that animal to survive in the frigid weather of that area.  Due next Wednesday.  Homework:  Bring in a picture or facts off the internet for your selected animal.  More time will be given on Tuesday to complete this.
