8:10- 8:50 Bible		Take memory verse test on Eph. 1:9-10.  Introduce new verse – Hebrews 11:8.  Discuss what a covenant is. Complete pages 37 – 38 in workbook.  Homework:  Finish 37-38.  Due Wednesday.	Chapel	Grade workbook pgs. 37 – 38. Promises of God. Do worksheet pgs. 39 – 40.  Due Thursday.	Go over pgs. 39 – 40.  What does God say about how to be happy?  In groups of two, complete pgs. 41-42.  Homework:  Bring a  blank journal to class tomorrow.	Discuss pgs. 41-42. Make a journal of God’s promises.  Write a time in your life when you were dependent on God’s promises.

Homework:  Study for test #3 – tomorrow.  Lesson 20 – evens only. Due Wednesday.  Grade problem set # 29.  Discuss how to find the least common multiple.  Homework:  Lesson 30 –evens.   Study for test #5 – tomorrow.	Answer questions on problem set #20.  Give test on Unit 3 (lessons 16-20) No homework tonight for either group. Grade homework from yesterday.  Take test on unit 5 (over lessons 26-30).  Read pages 138-141.  Decide on a project that you can make a frequency table about.  This needs to be completed on a poster board.  Due next Wednesday, Oct. 19th.	Grade problem set #20.  Practice on board comparing fractions by looking at pictures.  Homework:  Problem set #21 – evens only.  Due Friday.  Review areas of rectangles.  Do lesson 31 evens.	Grade problem set #21.  Introduce Equal Groups stories with fractions.  Homework:  Lesson 22 – odds only. Due Monday.  Grade lesson 31.  Work on expanded notation.  Homework:  Lesson 32 –odds only.
2:05- 2:55 History    Or Science		Divide into groups of four.  Answer questions on page 24.  Design an invention that will help gather more info about volcanoes.  Draw a diagram of your invention.  Homework:  Gather materials to make a model of your invention for tomorrow.	Build a model of your invention from yesterday.  Be ready to tell how it works and how it will help scientists predict volcanoes in the future.  The presentations will be tomorrow. Homework:  Make sure page 24 is finished for tomorrow.	Give a short presentation of your model  to the class.  Grade pg. 24.  Homework:  Complete workbook pg. 11-12 for tomorrow.	Collect workbook pgs. 11-12.  In pairs, study for tomorrow’s science test on chapter one.  Play a review game to prepare for the test. Homework:  Study for test on Chapter 1	Test on chapter one.
