8:10- 8:50 Bible	Veteran’s Day Holiday – No School.	Chapel	Introduce memory verse:  Acts 1:8.  Read D.I. pg. 88. Discuss what happened to Jesus after his resurrection.  Introduce the Early Church.  In groups of two, complete top section of pg. 29. Homework:  Complete workbook pg. 29.  Due tomorrow.	Go over workbook pg. 29 from yesterday.  Read Acts 2: 4  -13.  Role-play what it would have been like when the Holy Spirit first came to the church.  What would you have experienced?  As a group, complete workbook pg. 31.  Homework:  Study for Bible verse test tomorrow.	Friday Sing – Take verse test – Acts 1:8.  Introduce next week’s verse – Acts 4:20.  What difference does the Holy Spirit make in a person’s life?  Complete top half of pg. 32.  What has the Holy Spirit done in your life? No homework

Due Thursday.   Also, study for test tomorrow over lessons 26 – 30.	Grade lesson #30.  Take test #5.  No homework	Go over test from yesterday.  In groups of four, take a survey and chart your results by using one of the methods listed on pgs. 138 – 139 of textbook.  Homework:  Prepare chart to show results next Monday.

Go over test from last Friday.  Present Apothecary presentation.  Have students list five colonial occupations that they would be interested in researching.	Pick your colonial occupation.  In groups of four, write a response to the Colonial Time Travel situation given to each group.  Share your response at the end of class.      Homework:  Bring information about your colonial occupation.	Go to computer lab to research more about your colonial occupation.  No homework
