Introduce memory verse:  Acts 1:8.  Read D.I. pg. 88. Discuss what happened to Jesus after his resurrection.  Introduce the Early Church.  In groups of two, complete top section of pg. 29.
Homework:  Complete workbook pg. 29.  Due tomorrow. 



                                   

Go over workbook pg. 29 from yesterday.  Read Acts 2: 4  -13.  Role-play what it would have been like when the Holy Spirit first came to the church.  What would you have experienced?  As a group, complete workbook pg. 31. 
Homework:  Study for Bible verse test tomorrow. 
Friday Sing –
Take verse test – Acts 1:8.  Introduce next week’s verse – Acts 4:20.  What difference does the Holy Spirit make in a person’s life?  Complete top half of pg. 32.  What has the Holy Spirit done in your life?
