8:10- 8:50 Bible	Introduce memory verse:  1 John 1:4-5.  Introduce the lesson on Jesus’ love and light to the world.  Divide into three groups and find the attribute of Jesus in the verses given.  Read story on pg. 65 of workbook.  Answer questions at bottom.  Discuss in class. No homework	Chapel	Read two separate stories to the class from the newspaper.  Which is believable, and which isn’t?  Discuss with the class Mary and Joseph’s obedience to an “impossible situation”.  In groups of two complete top of workbook pg. 66.  Discuss in class.  As a group, finish bottom section. Homework:  Begin studying for verse test on Friday.	Do introduction on pg. 200 – T.E., then work through directed instruction.  Talk about hope and how the Promises in Scripture provides hope for us.  As a group, complete workbook pg. 67.  Homework:  Study for verse test tomorrow.	Friday Sing! Take memory verse test on 1 John 1:4-5.  Introduce next week’s verse: Luke 2: 10 – 11.  In groups of two, look up scripture verses that give us hope.  Share with the class.  Homework:  None
