	No School – Memorial Day Holiday	Chapel	Introduce the Bible verse:  James 1: 2-4.  Prayer requests. Read Directed Instruction pg. 352 – T.E.  Talk about favoritism.  Complete top section of workbook pg. 117.  Homework:  Complete bottom of page 117 – due Thursday.	Grade pg. 117 (workbook).  Divide into two groups, and have each group fill in captions of a cartoon.  Have one group fill in positive captions and one fill in negative captions.  Discuss what negative speech can do.  What effect does our speech have on others? Homework:  Study for Bible verse test tomorrow.	Friday Sing! Take Bible verse test on James 1: 2- 4.  Introduce next week’s verses:  II Peter 1: 5- 7.  Update prayer requests.  Play game with a partner on workbook pg. 120. No homework

Grade lesson #91.  Go to Khan Academy.  Work on probability on the computers.  No homework	Demonstrate how to use expanded notation with exponents.  Homework:  Complete lesson #92 – evens, (or all for extra credit).  Due Friday.	Grade lesson #92.  Review how to write fractions as percents.  Homework:  with a partner, complete lesson #93 – odds.  Due Monday.
2:05- 2:55 Social Studies or Health		Health – In partners work on information and posters for presentation on narcotics. Homework:  Posters and information are due next Monday.	History – Finish reading pgs. 167 – 169.  Practice finding locations for our last Passport testing.  Homework:  Study for Passport Testing tomorrow. Also, study for  a quiz tomorrow over pgs. 160-167.	Passport testing.  Spend a few minutes reviewing for quiz in History.  Then take quiz on parts of Chapter 9.  No homework	Health – Continue working on your health poster and information with your partner.  Narcotics posters and information are due on Monday.
