 Introduce the Bible verse for this week:  Acts 13:38. Update prayer requests. Do Introduction pg. 112.  Read about Paul’s conversion experience – Acts 9: 3-20.  Discuss the changes in his life.  In your journal describe the changes that Christ has brought about in your life. 
Homework:  Begin studying for verse test on Friday.

 Divide the students into four groups.  Complete directed Instruction pg. 116 T.E. with the students, having them act out what happened at each place that Paul preached.

 Introduce the Bible verse – Acts 4:20.  Update prayer requests.  Introduce the lesson – pg. 100 T.E.  Divide the class into four groups.  Give each group one of the passages in Acts to write a short skit about.  Perform skits for class, having students guess what their passage was about.

Discuss persecution.  Read a passage from “Jesus Freak” to talk about modern-day persecution of Christians.  Distribute short play about Stephen’s trial.  Have students role-play what happened to Stephen.  If time permits, do exercise 2B with class (pg. 102 T.E.)
Homework:  Bring in a current event item tomorrow showing an example of Christian persecution around the world. 

                                   

Play “Hangman” game with word  given in T.E. pg. 104.  Explain the meaning after the word is discovered.  Using the current event that you brought from home, write a short summary of what your article is about.
