Sixth grade lesson and homework plan for week of Dec. 1, 2014

 Introduce the Bible verse for this week:  Acts 13:38. Update prayer requests. Do Introduction pg. 112.  Read about Paul’s conversion experience – Acts 9: 3-20.  Discuss the changes in his life.  In your journal describe the changes that Christ has brought about in your life. 
Homework:  Begin studying for verse test on Friday. 
Chapel
 Divide the students into four groups.  Complete directed Instruction pg. 116 T.E. with the students, having them act out what happened at each place that Paul preached.

Do Introduction and Directed Instruction – pg. 118 T.E. with students, having them participate in the Reader’s Theater highlighting Paul’s Trip to Rome.  Homework:  Study for your Bible verse test tomorrow. 

Do memory verse test on Acts 13:38 Update prayer requests.  Introduce new Bible verse – Romans 1:16.  Discuss what we have learned about Paul.  Write in your journal about what you have learned from Paul’s missionary journeys about living a life of commitment to God.
