 Introduce this week’s Bible verse – Acts 1:8 – Update prayer requests.  Read Introduction pg. 88 T.E. – Then complete Directed Instruction including the emotion exercise.

Do Introduction and Directed Instruction – pg. 90 T.E. Have each group demonstrate what they would be doing as they were waiting for the gift that Jesus promised.  Discuss the Apostle’s Creed.  As a small group, create your own Apostle’s creed.

Share your Apostle’s Creed with the rest of the class.  How easy would it be to fulfill that?  Discuss what “Gift” Jesus sent in Acts 2.  Complete illustration using flashlight. (pg. 92 T.E.)  How would the world be different without the Holy Spirit.
Homework: Study for the Bible verse test tomorrow.
Friday Sing.  Bible verse test on Acts. 1:8  Introduce next week’s verse Acts. 4:20.  Update prayer requests.  Draw a picture of what it would have looked like at Pentecost.  Discuss what happened when Peter preached to the people there.

By using Khan Academy on the computer, solve problems with fractions finding the lowest terms and least common multiples.

Homework:  Bring 30 items to build your earthquake- proof structure on Friday.
