8:10- 8:50 Bible	Introduce new Bible verse:  John 14:26.  Update prayer requests. Introduce John.  Complete introduction and Directed Instruction on pg. 76 – T.E.  No homework	Chapel	Instruct students to bring colored pencils to class.  Give each student a printout of John 14:16 -19 and 15:26.  Using the colored pencils, define certain aspects of the Holy Spirit in these verses – Directed Instruction pg. 78.  No homework	Optional:  Say the memory verse orally.  Begin with group activity on Introduction section of pg. 80.  Then complete Black line master 7A using the groupings suggested on pg. 80.  Talk about the importance of having other people to help us.  Homework:  Study for test tomorrow on memory verse.	Friday Sing,  Update prayer requests.  Write in journal on how your life has been changed because of Jesus. Take memory verse test on John 14:26. Introduce next week’s verse – Acts 1:8.  Play “Who am I” using extension activity on 4A.  Have student try to identify the person whose life was changed by his/her encounter with Jesus. No homework

Girls – Science – Share your plans for your volcanologist outfit and tools for exploring a volcano.  In teams of two, plan to bring thirty building items to build a three-story building that can withstand an earthquake.  Homework:  Bring building items for Wed. Girls – Science – Build your three story building using the thirty items brought to class.  You may use only those items!  Test your building to see if it can withstand the earthquake.  No homework	Girls – P.E.
