Sixth grade lesson and homework plan for week of Dec. 15, 2014

6th Grade	MONDAY	TUESDAY	WEDNESDAY	THURSDAY	FRIDAY
8:10- 8:50 Bible	Introduce the Bible verse – Isaiah 9:6.  Play ball game working on words of verse.  Read an article to students that is hard to believe.  Talk about the news that the angels sent that was hard to believe.  Do Directed Instruction on pg. 198 dividing students into groups of four.  Homework:  Practice memory verse for test on Thursday.	Chapel	Do Introduction pg. 200.  Read Luke 2:1 – 7.  Divide into groups, each group taking one character of the Christmas story.  Write what their character must have thought as they experienced the angel visit as well as during their trip to Bethlehem and the birth of Jesus.  Come back together and act out the Christmas story.  Homework:  Study Bible verse for tomorrow’s test.	Take Bible verse test.  Watch Part I of the Nativity.  No homework	Go to Gym to form the living Christmas Tree.  Watch Part II of the Nativity.  Homework:  Remember to keep Christ in Christmas.
8:55- 9:40 Math Group Teal	Grade worksheet pg. 27.  Show students how to use zero as a placeholder.  Homework:  Complete lesson #40 – odds.  Due Tuesday.  Also, study for test tomorrow over lessons 36 – 40.	Grade lesson #40.  Take test 7A.  No homework	Work on Science project – all morning.	Go over test from Tuesday.  Practice for Passport Test this afternoon.  No Math homework.	Watch Christmas Movie.  Wrap gifts for City Gate’s Family.  No Math homework.
9:45- 10:26 P.E./ Science	Boys – P.E. Girls – Science – Continue researching the technology that your invention is based upon.  No homework	Girls – P.E. Boys - Science	Boys – P.E. Girls – Science – Keep working on Science Project.  Homework:  Continue collecting information off the internet about the invention that your technological advanced invention is based upon.  Also, collect information on what technology is needed to create your advancements.
