6th Grade	MONDAY	TUESDAY	WEDNESDAY	THURSDAY	FRIDAY
8:10- 8:50 Bible	Introduce the Bible verse – II Timothy 2: 15 – 16.  Update prayer requests.  Do Introduction pg. 280.  Talk about false teachers – BLM 24A.  Complete Directed Instruction pg. 280 having students look up passages about Paul and Timothy. Homework:  Begin studying for verse test on Friday.	Chapel	Have students role play a situation where one is a coach and one is an athlete.  What is needed to get the athlete in shape?  Divide into three groups.  Have each group look up passage from Directed Instruction and tell how this applies to the students in this class.  Complete BLM 24B with class.  No homework	Allow students to orally say the verse.  Do Introduction pg. 284.  As a group, have students talk about situations on BLM  24C.  Do these honor God or not?  Conclude with II Timothy 2:15 – 16 and 22 – 26.  Homework:  Study for test tomorrow.	Friday Sing. Take the Bible verse  test – II Timothy 2: 15 – 16.  Update prayer requests.  Read an article about an athlete who finished a race despite injury or overcoming a treacherous situation.  Explain that life is like a race.  Don’t give up! No homework

Grade lesson #74.  Demonstrate how to compare fractions by converting them to decimal numbers.  Homework:  Complete lesson #75 – evens.  Due Wednesday.	Grade lesson #75.  Play a game to review the last five lessons.  Homework:  Study for test tomorrow over lessons 71 – 75.	Take test #14A.  No homework	Go to Khan Academy and work on graphing points on a coordinate plane.  No homework

Discuss one of the conflicts of the North and South – slavery.  Read to class “Follow the Drinking Gourd”.  Homework:  Highlight and write notes for pages 171 – 175. Notes due next Tuesday.	History – Grade questions pg. 179. In class read together pages 179 – 181.  Discuss the ending of the war and the assassination of President Lincoln.  Homework:  Highlight and write notes for pages 176 – 181.  Notes due next Tuesday.	History – Watch the final battle in the movie “Gettysburg”.  While watching the movie, students can complete section A of Chapter Checkup. Homework:  Chapter checkup due next Wednesday.
