Second group Review horizontal and vertical – Homework:  Problem set 16- odds only due Tuesday.	Grade lesson 6.  Discuss place value through hundred-thousands.  Homework:  pgs. 27-28 – evens only.  Second group Grade problem set 16.  Review multiplication Homework:  Problem set 17- evens only Due Wed.	Grade lesson 7.  Review subtraction.  Homework:  pgs. 38-39. Odds only.  Second group – grade problem set 17.  Introduce missing numbers in multiplication.  Homework:  Problem set 18 – odds only.  Due Thursday.	Grade lesson 8.  Discuss how to solve story problems.  Homework:  Lesson 11 – evens only. Second group – grade problem set 18.  Review division facts.  Homework:  Complete problem set 19-evens only.  Due Monday.

10:45- 11:35 Science   or History	Watch a movie on 9/11.  Write a ½ page story telling how you would have felt if you had been in New York and watched the events occur.	Pass out textbooks and workbooks.  Read pgs. 1-6.  Complete questions pg. 6.  Due Wed. Homework:  finish questions from class.	Grade pg. 6.  Divide into three groups:  dictatorship, absolute monarch,  and a republic.  Assign each team a topic and have students bring info tomorrow on their topic.  Homework:  Print info off the internet on assigned topic.	Work in groups by assigned topics, finding the benefits and problems with your group’s assigned government.  Be ready to debate these benefits and problems on Tuesday, Sept. 27th.
