Read Enduring Service and Forgiving Love to students.  Divide into four groups, each group being assigned one workbook page to do (pgs. 67 – 70)  In the last 15 minutes, have each group read their answers to the entire group.

Grade questions pg. 28.  Divide into explorer groups.  – Leif Ericson,  Christopher Columbus, John Cabot, Jacques Cartier, & Henry Hudson.  As a group, search out what that explorer was famous for.  Draw a map of his travels, and tell what he achieved.
Homwork:  Read pgs. 29 – 32.  




Share with the class the information that you found on your explorer.  Complete workbook pg.s 11 – 13.                 Homework:  Complete workbook pgs. 11 & 13 for Monday.  Begin studying the locations on these maps.
