Introduce  simplifying mixed measures.  Homework:  Complete lesson 52 –odds.	Grade lesson #42.  Show pictures of mixed numbers.  Review dividing with remainders.  Complete lesson #43 – evens. Due  Wed.  Grade lesson #52. Review expanded notation.  Homework:  Do lesson #53 – evens.	Grade lesson #43.  Review steps on how to add and subtract fractions with common denominators.  Homework:  Complete lesson #44 – odds.  Due Friday.  Grade lesson #53.  Discuss how to find the information needed to solve a problem.  Homework:  Do lesson #54 – odds.		Grade lesson #44 – Play game on skills learned on lessons 41 – 44.  No homework  for either group.  Grade lesson #54.  Play a game using skills from lessons 51-54.

Girls – Health-   Divide into 5 groups.  Each group is given a different part of the food pyramid to draw a picture of.  (Make sure to label how many servings are needed of your group per day.) Grade pgs. 29 – 30 in workbook.  Complete pgs. 31 – 32 for Friday. Homework:  Prepare materials to bring to class on Friday to build a dinosaur.		Using materials brought to class, build a model of an actual dinosaur.   Homework:  Begin research report on the dinosaur you have selected.  Report must be at least one-half page long (typewritten).  Due the week of Dec. 12th.
