2:05- 2:55 History    Or Science		Go over quiz from Wednesday, Nov. 23rd.  Divide students into groups and assign a province that they will research.  From the book, list at least five facts about your province. Homework:  Print two internet sources on your province and bring them in tomorrow.	With your partner, read pages 35 – 39.  Complete questions pgs. 37 & 39.  These can be divided between your partner and you, or you can answer them together.   Homework:  List at least three areas that you are going to discuss in your research paper about your province.	Discuss with your partner the areas that you are going to research.  Check your resources to find information on those areas that you will be writing about.  You can also use your partner’s resources for additional information. Homework:  You may begin to write your rough draft of your paper.	On a large sheet of white paper draw a map of your province.  Include mountains, lakes, rivers, etc. in your picture, as well as  the capital.  Province picture and reports are due on January 5th, 2012.
