Homework:  Start collecting objects that can be used to make a model of a cell.  Students may not use any perishable items as part of their cell.  Items need to be brought next Tuesday.

        Science - Read pages 83 – 85.  Discuss what cells are made of and what the differences are between plant and animal cells. 
Draw a diagram of what your cell needs to look like.  Also, observe under a microscope an actual cell.
Homework:  Continue gathering items for cell construction next Tuesday.

Health:  Divide into groups of 2.  Have each group pick a system of the body that they would like to report on.  Gather information about the system.  Also, begin making a poster of your selected system. 
Homework:  Bring info on your selected system for next Monday.  Also, bring exercise chart filled out.
Collect “National Flag” section of Country Report.  Introduce next section – “Historic Time Line”.  Remind students that final draft of this will be due next Tuesday.  Complete worksheet on the Great Wall of China with a small group.

Grade worksheet on the Great Wall of China.  Read pages 83 – 86.  Complete questions on pg. 86.
Homework:  Finish questions pg. 86 for tomorrow. 
Grade questions pg. 86.  Read pages 87 – 93.  How is our life different from life in China today?
