 Introduce the Bible verse – Romans 12: 1-2. By using water, illustrate what it means to conform and transform.  Complete directed activity pg. 160.  If time permits, do extension activity on same page.
Homework:  Begin studying Bible verse for test onThursday. 
Field Trip – National Geographic Presentation – Benaroya Hall and then Chuck E Cheese for lunch and fun.
(All Day) (Bring $6.50 for pizza)
Using blindfolds, complete Directed Instruction pg. 162 allowing students to work in groups of threes. Introduce the concept of spiritual gifts.  Make a handprint heart as a wall hanging.

Read a story about a student who was bullied.  What is our responsibility to a person who is being treated unkindly? Divide into three groups.  Have each group illustrate the Bible verse they are given, and then share the illustrations with the class.  Complete Directed Instruction pg. 164. 
Homework:  Continue studying for the Bible verse test that will be next Friday (Jan. 23rd).

History - How a Bill becomes a law.  Walk through the steps of how a bill becomes a law.
