Introduce   the Bible verse – Titus 3: 5 – 6. Update prayer requests.  Do Introduction and Directed Instruction pg. 292.  Divide the students into two groups.  Have them decide what makes a person a leader.  List attributes. 
Do BLM 25B – This will be due next Friday. 
Homework:  Begin studying for verse.


                                   

Discuss what filters are used for.  What filters do we use in our lives?  Work through Directed Instruction pg. 294. 
Homework:  Study for Bible verse test tomorrow.  
Friday Sing.  Bible verse test on Titus 3: 5 – 6.  Update prayer requests.  Introduce next week’s verse – Philemon 4-6. Discuss Spiritual Growth.  Divide into four groups.  Give each group a passage on Spiritual Maturity.  Discuss with the entire class.

Homework: Bring small boxes, cardboard, scraps of material, and any other item used in building a miniature house filled with geometric shapes.  Due Friday. 
Using your boxes and materials that you brought, design a geometric shape house, adding as many geometric shapes to your house as you can.  Show at the end of class.

Homework:  You are an Indian or a soldier on the Trail of Tears.  Write a ½ page report on what you experienced on that trail.  Due Friday. 
History – Read pages 193 – 194.  Discuss immigration and what was needed to become a citizen of the United States.  Divide into groups and evaluate which candidates would be the best to become citizens. 
Homework:  Make sure your Trail of Tears narrative is ready for tomorrow. 
History – Read reports on the Trail of Tears.  Discuss if we were right or wrong to move the Indians.
