Brainstorm what is History and why it is important.   
Read pages 1 – 5 in textbook.  Discuss what evolution is and why it is not factual. 
Homework:  Complete questions pg. 6.  Due Thursday. 
Grade questions pg. 6.  Read pgs. 6 – 7 in textbook.  Divide students into groups discussing different forms of government.  In groups complete workbook pg. 2.  This will be due tomorrow. 
Homework:  Bring information about your assigned form of government.  This information can be printed off the internet or a book from the public library could be brought. 
Grade workbook pg. 2. By using the information that you brought on your form of government, answer questions about that type of government.  You will complete this in groups.  Also,   brainstorm what advantages you would have if your country had this form of   government. 
Homework:  Be prepared to share about your form of government Monday to the class. 
 also, make sure to remember to answer your Health questions on pg. 9.  Due Monday.
