Grade workbook pg. 1.  Introduce lesson – pg. 6 TE.  Divide into six groups.  Assign each group a scripture from workbook pg. 2.  Have them become reporters to research the who, what, where, when, why and how of the passage.  Report your findings to class. 
No homework

Read directed instructions pg. 8 on T.E.  In groups of two’s have students complete workbook pg. 3.
Homework: Workbook pg. 3 due Friday.  Also, study for verse test on John 3:16 – 17 – tomorrow.   
Friday Sing. 
Memory verse test – John 3:16 – 17.  Introduce next week’s verse – Deuteronomy 7:9.  Do Bible verse drill.

Divide into groups by explorers.  By using research, answer the questions about your explorer.

Go to computer lab to research about your explorer or to help create a travel brochure for your explorer.  Travel maps showing the routes your explorer sailed and travel brochures are due Friday. 

Finish travel brochure and map for presentation tomorrow.
